This is especially relevant for vehicles used in motorsport.\r\n\r\nThe X-Brace forms a diagonal reinforcement, which also secures the axle mounting points and prevents movements between the chassis and the vehicle's domes. The axle itself is connected to the body at four points - two in the front and two in the rear.\r\n\r\nEspecially during strong acceleration, the rear attachment points are heavily stressed. The rotational movement of the differential pulls the rear points downwards, while the front points are pushed upwards and forwards.
